Photo taken a couple of weeks prior to the razing of the building at 100 W. Bremer. Following the flood of 1999 and the death of the owner, the city bought the property and razed the building. Looking south along 1st St. NW towards Bremer Ave. The brown building, now apartments, was once a blacksmith shop. The white frame building on the corner with the 2 additions at the rear was due to be razed by the city. street scene, pickup truck, brick building, old white buildings. Since this 2000 photo the brown building was also removed and the area south of the alley converted into a city parking lot.
