April 1993. Plat Index: just south of the junction of Highways 3 and 63 which is about 7 miles east of Waverly. Looking south along Highway 63. The old house on the left was moved in from the county farm when they built their big home (possibly in the late 40s or 50s). The white buildings to the south are the cafe/gas station and repair shop. The town never really was occupied. The cafe and gas station were open in the 1950s and periodically after that until the 70s. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No 93F0003
