Waverly Manufacturing Co. manufactured assorted agricultural equipment. Their business was located in the building on 5th St. NW at 6th Ave. Cecil Bruns, company manager, and John Miles had developed a new grain dryer. They formed a company to produce it - Hawkeye Industries, basically an expansion. The building was too crowded so the metal work portion was moved to an old building on the former canning factory lot on W. Bremer. The photo question is: NW moving out or SW moving in ?
Accession No. 91N0461
