An ad printed on January 11, 1971, listed Irving Bettenga as manager. As an incentive it announced they would cash local payroll checks on Friday and Saturday. The grand opening of the Pester Derby gas station was held in April 1971. There were 12 attendants on hand that weekend when the Waverly Chamber Ambassadors came to call. It closed about 1988.
This was located at 1016 W Bremer Ave, Waverly, IA 50677, in the parking lot area of Godfather's and Grumpy's.
