Mary Cheville Collection. Armour & Co. stock yards hog sheds along the Illinois Central tracks in NW Waverly and north of Crystal Plumbing. It started there in 1929 and was almost immediately enlarged.
(just north of Bremer Ave). Looking northwest. The animals came in by truck and were shipped out by rail. At one point Arlie Anderson was the manager.
