Collegetown Plaza on W. Bremer at 10th St. S.
Fred's Supervalu grocery also had a little cafe, and a postal window. The wing off to the northwest was added a few years later. Meyer Drug is in the ell as is the Carriage House which sold sold women's clothes on one side and men's on the other. Sportsmen's Corner was on the corner. Fred's Supervalu remodeled part of the old canning factory into a grocery store, the 1st supermarket in Waverly. The photo has a blind spot near the middle but believe that was a 1st Nat'l branch office. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 90N0370.
