After completion of the wrap-around addition looking west from the northeast corner of the library and the circulation desk. The reading room with periodicals on the left with adult fiction on the shelves. There were 5 levels in the building: sub basement (under south end), basement, street level, 2nd floor (over original Carnegie portion), and a balcony over west central of original building. The old balcony was supported in the main by the bookcases underneath with narrow steep stairs leading up to it. Steve Gies is believed to the page manning the desk. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 18A0032
