B. E. opened his clothing store in 1962 in the former Schultsmeyer >Penney's>Alloway grocery front. In 1978 Patricia Mick opened her Bridal Gallery on the second floor of Mick's. The second floor of #123 is noted in news articles in the late 1960s as home of the Cedar Valley Art Gallery. Local artists displayed their work on weekend exhibits.
