After year's at this location Brandenburg's jewelry store closed. The new occupant Martin Vollmer opened Martin's Brandenburg Restaurant choosing to keep Brandenburg in the name. In about 2011 Mr. Vollmer closed the restaurant and the Wild Carrot opened. The popular Sandwich-and-Soup Gift store is still there as of 2026,
