This station was built in 1941 after an earlier station was torn down. The second bay to the west was added later and in recent years (according to 1991 notes) a third bay was added onto the back. The station was formerly known as Ellis' DX and Platte's DX. This is located just west of the GW depot.

In 1975 it was Westendorf's DX. Milt Westendorf and his son Ed ran the business.
