Sisters Deb Mummelthei and Jolynn Reinhardt took over Love and Lace from Betty Monaghan in June 1998. Per an article re: women in business they had 10 employees by October, all women. They carried wedding supplies and clothing. They could also provide floral needs. In 2008 a flood had them rushing to clear out their basement. With the help of a lot of volunteers they had the job done in 4 1/2 hours. After that they moved the store one block east.
