The corner building at 120 and 122 had already been converted to a double front by Harrison's variety store. Max Eggleston moved the Stauffer Pharmacy there from 201 E. Bremer in 1973. The business was sold to Tom Taiber in 1984, but retained the name. Stauffer's and the Meyer's drug stores merged in 1995 and opened at 110 W. Bremer in Collegetown Plaza.
Also in the basement of Stauffer's 2 students. Chris [19] and Brett [17] Helmers, opened the Card Cellar. They traded in sports cards. Their grand opening was held in May 1990. Photo of the interior appears in BI; 5 June 1990p34.
Rostick's Jewelry was opened in 1990 by Mike and Lorraine Rostick. In 199e they moved to the Village Square mall on SW 4th St.
