Hy-Vee moved into their store on the north end of Willow Lawn Mall in 1973. They remained there until 1988 when they moved into this new store in Village Square Mall. The newspaper ran a number of photos of the new Hy-Vee in the Waverly paper on 5 June 1990 on p31.
