Looking east and slightly north from 1st St SE at the backside of the buildings on E. Bremer between 1st and 2nd Street. The site the men are working was the location of a gas station called Gasoline Alley from the mid 1930s to the fall of 1947, The cars may indicate the men are working on that it was only there about ten years. Perhaps to tear it down. Many cars on the road were still pre-war vintage. Date estimated at 1847,
