Final installation was done Friday on the master television antenna which is being donated to the Washington County Hospital by the local Kiwanis Club. With the master antenna, which has been set up atop the hospital, and the other equipment which was also installed, it will now be possible to receive five different TV channels in any private room of the hospital simply by plugging in a set. The total cost of installation of the antenna and equipment is a little over $600 and that will be paid in full by the Kiwanis Club reported Harris B. Jones, administrator of the hospital. Shown in the picture above with a TV set in one of the hospital rooms are, from left to right, Mr. Jones; Harold Mangold, who supervised the installation; and Dr. R. Q. Eastland, vice president of the local Kiwanis Club.
