Edward Knott's Livery and importing business Location: W. Bremer between river and 1st St. S.W. A very similar photo, except with horses and buggies, appeared in the 1896 Semi-Centennial Souvenir of Waverly, Iowa, where it was claimed that the company had "barn room for 200 horses and an endless variety of carriages, buggies, surreys, hacks and other modern equipages." Building burned about 1903, and Rock Island depot and grounds were moved to site from further south.
