Oh October 21, 2000 the Waverly Chamber of Commerce sponsored Blocktoberfest which was held on the courthouse lawn. The gathering of vendors set up their displays where crowds could learn more about various aspects of Waverly. Some booths were informational and other were vendors and still others a combination of both.
