Dairy Days parade reaching the fairgrounds 1940. Bremer County Buttermakers Assn. In their Dairy Days parade entry, Bremer County's buttermakers used a flock of 20 bicycles to dramatize the number of creameries in the Dairy Spot. Each of the bicycles following the truck, which was loaded with butter tubs, carried a sign with the name of a Bremer County creamery. Norm Herman, the boy in white directly under the pole, represented the Klinger creamery. Arlan Poock was another biker. Bremer Count Independent; 26 June 1940p1
