Waverly Newspaper. Looking toward the southeast from above the Ridgewood Addition. Carey school is to the left of the water tower with the Carnation/Nestle plant beyond. The water tower is located on NW 4th St. and 10th Ave. NW on the west side of the street. It was erected in 1970. The date of this photo appears to be soon after that since there are few houses and ads appear in the 1970/71 papers for numerous new houses in that area.
