Long known as the Winner building in early days, it had recently been remodeled in this photo from the Waverly Democrat of July 29, 1955. The unit to the left was occupied by Waverly Upholstery and Gilmore Insurance Agency. The Iowa State Liquor store was in the front on the right. Water tank far right.
Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 91N0671.
