This building was converted to the America Legion Post. It is located on SW 8th St. just north of Harlington cemetery. The building partially visible to the left was once the Lavell Photo studio on SE 1st St. and was moved to this site and converted to apartments. Two men talking in lower center are believed to be Ray Ragsdale on left and Elden Kueker at right. The Waverly veterans organizations decided to merge following the flood of 2008 and began looking for a new home. The proper chosen was 1300 4th St. NW.
