Waverly Newspaper. Crews use a Bantam to repair a washed-out bridge following the summer flood of 1968. Most of the damage was due to a wall of water which was released when a dike made of hay washed against a fence broke. The Cedar River caused very little damage. The dry run, however, bellied its name. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No. 91N0110.
