Looking southwest from 5th St. and W. Bremer. House #501 was demolished in Nov. 1991. After several occupants [all food related] it is now Domino's Pizza. The home to the right [#505] was removed by Quick Trip and it was on the lot by 1988/9. According to city directories both of these homes listed residents in upstairs units. By 1975 the rest of the block to the west was #517, part of the Quick Trip lot.
Gone were 2 houses, Kurt's Plow Shop. Even the dry run at the west end of the block has a totally different look.
