The Laird building to the right was built to replace a building that had been destroyed by fire in 1933. Half of it is hidden behind the aluminum slipcover.

The building at the left was built about 1969 on lots which had been empty since a 1934 fire destroyed the Coddington & Laird building. The Chamber of Commerce and Sheehan Realtors occupy the present structure. Ralph Laird has his law office in the west half of the Laird building just to the east. The other half of the Laird building is hidden behind the Good Year slip-cover. 1980s. Paul Klinge Herb Dorfman owned the Auto Parts store which took up three buildings. Kohlman Bike Shop (white building) was on the corner by the bridge. The Chamber of Commerce was in the brick building in 1976. I replaced Loren McEnany as the new Chamber Manager that year. Later, the Chamber moved into the smaller office on the left, and Mike Sheehan Realtors moved into the bigger office in about 1978. Dawn Rodish My dad -Joe Richmann, worked for Herb Dorfman for 30+ years. Kathy Lynn Huisman Does anyone remember the roller skating rink where Dorfman's was?
