Looking southeast from 2nd St and W. Bremer. There has been a lumber yard on the same corner for at least 95 years. Spahn & Rose bought another firm around 1905. At that time they also had a storage lot on the north side of Bremer and a block wet. The building was built with a drive-through from Bremer Ave. to the alley on the east half of the building. Additional photographs and resources can be found at the Waverly Public Library on the local and family history page http://www.waverlyia.com/public-library/research/local-and-family-history-collection.aspx Accession No 93C0159
