Waverly Newspaper. S.H. Curtis hardware opened in 1855, and the building was built in 1865. It was the firm which operated in one location for the longest time on Bremer Ave. Geo. Kohlmann moved his clothing store to the site in 1915, replacing the Dreamland theater which ran for a number of years on the first floor. Located on E. Bremer between 1st and 2nd streets S. The Peppermint Stick and Rosteck's Jewelry (as of 1991 notes) were occupying the building.
